Banned Music or musicians are real incidents. Musicians and bands around the world are becoming a cornerstone of the music industry, playing their music to far reaches the world. Listening to music is one thing, but the fact that your favourite plays are in the flesh is quite exciting. But musicians and bands touring the globe, it would appear, is just as privileged for the performer as it for the audience. Despite the extensive tours of many musical events, some nations have just refused to allow them to perform flat-out regardless of their popularity. Criminal, political and non-sensitive offenses: ten tales have been told behind the prohibition of musicians and bands in certain nations.
10 Lamb Of God—Malaysia Banned Music

The pleasures of the Heavy Metal band Lamb of God were denied to the people of Malaisia in the year 2013 after their songs have been scrutinized by public authorities who considered them to be’ blasphemous. However, the Malay Government feared that Lamb of God might be damaging to its Muslim people and that it did not live up to Malaysia’s cultural and religious values in a nation that has a government-run “Islamic Development” department, blended excerpt from the Quran with heavy metal music. Despite Lamb of God’s objection to the ban as a misinterpretation of the purpose behind their songs, despite having already sold tickets, the show was not permitted to play in Malaysia.
9 Bjork—China Banned Music

After an unfortunate gig back in 2008, the idiosyncratic Icelandic singer Bjork was banned from performing in China. After the disputable occupation of China in the 1950s, Bjork took on the job of protesting what she perceived to be wrong by saying “Tibet! The Tibetan Republic!” While her song” Declare Independence ” was performed in Shanghai. But now, Chinese officials don’t take actors that “drop global unity” too kindly, and Bjork’s outbreak has led to the broad purging of artists who want to follow her paths. Performers who want to play in China have been strictly challenged before play for “operations that threaten domestic sovereignty.” Perhaps making a political statement at a musical concert was insensitive, but either way you will not see that Bjork is performing in China shortly.
8 The Kinks—US
The Kinks embarked on their first doomed US tour in 1965 after their achievement in Britain. However, after supposedly arriving late at the Dick Clark variety show Where the Action Is, Ray Davies, the group arrived directly at the TV show, but had a thread of violence from a member of the manufacturing team, the reputedly soaked, rowdy band members encountered a swift end to their US touring privilege. In his angry diatribe, the disappointed manufacturing team member said, “Every mop-topped, scoffy young man who believes he can come here and create his life for himself just as the Beatles did.” In other words, it wasn’t all that impressed. At the end of the tour, the American Musicians Federation refused to grant Kinks the opportunity to play in the US for four years, so it found how potent the US was. The American Federation of Musicians was not able to play in America for four years.
7 Alice Cooper—Australia
In 1975 Alice Cooper was prohibited from playing in Australia on his Nightmare tour, as a rock legend and the scourge among the snake globe. Australia’s state labor and immigration minister refused to allow Cooper to enter the nation and the Australian shows were cancelled. Alice Cooper concerts, which feature stuff like guillotines, gallows, and lots of Blood are well-known for their horrible theatre. Naturally, fake blood. That’s all too much for the 1975 Australian immigration officer, who charged Cooper with his “sorts of collection” as a “degenerate who could strongly affect the youngsters and the weak.” Cooper’s prohibition from Australia seemed to be annoying because he defended himself using the bloody Shakespeare plays, stating they are similarly violent yet canonic to college education. Alice Cooper continued to tour Australia in subsequent years.
6 Pete Doherty—US
Pete Doherty has been a frequent feature in the UK press for his well-reported abuse of drugs but also caught up in his use of drugs in the United States in 2010. Doherty was planned to play with John Lennon’s son SeanLennon for Corduroy’s launch magazine, but he didn’t make him go over JFK airport in New York. Unfortunately, Doherty’s reputation as a drug user has never quite been escaped during his good career as an ex-Libertine front man. For example, US immigration customs authorities sent him back to London with a few racketing drug claims throughout their checked past. Essentially, he is prohibited from the US and is therefore prohibited from playing there because of Doherty’s previous drug conviction. Without him, the US will only have to handle.
5 Chris Brown—UK
Even if R&B pop singer Chris Brown is now somewhat unfameful, his music is still commercially successful. In the United Kingdom however, his success can not be realized completely as he’s banned for good and worse. Chris Brown was detained and convicted to community service after he attacked former friend and pop singer Rihanna in 2009. Brown was scheduled to take part in a tour of the UK next year, but it was too soon for the UK government to leave the bygones behind. Actually, because of a severe criminal offense, he was denied approval by the UK home office. The arrest of Chris Brown for his attack on Rihanna resulted to his UK ban and, indeed, to the cancelation of the date on his United Kingdom trip. Chris Brown has been touring since 2018, but noticed a lack of dates other than North America.
4 Dusty Springfield—South Africa
The 1964 tour of South Africa by Dusty Springfield met with an unfortunate and quick end, which prevented her from performing the remainder of the tournament. The Southern African government of Apartheid confronted and deported Springfield’s breach of its laws in the field of racial segregation. The first British artist to include a clause “NO Apartheid” in the South African music tour contract was Dusty Springfield. The proviso, however, was small because the public authorities caught the wind of her rebellious deeds after performing two in Johannesburg for a non-segregated crowd. Springfeld was escorted back to her hotel by police and deported after three days when she reached her Cape Town tour date. Springfield was prohibited from Springfield for “blatantly violating apartheid legislation,” activities that were considered to be “a red flag for the administration.”Springfield’s concept was among the first to trigger cultural boycott from the South African Apartheid age.
3 Led Zeppelin—Singapore
In the 1970s, the government of Singapores introduced the “Operation Snip Snip” campaign. The main purpose of this campaign was to force a person with lengthy hair to have haircuts before entering the nation. In fact, a barbershop was organized at one of the check points on the frontier between Malaysia and Singapore— we all should take one minute to let that sink. In the main, in the 1960s and 1970s, Singapore was connected with males of a lengthy hair, who, in their view, fostered a lofty lifestyle strongly linked to drug abuse. Unless you know, in the 1970s, Led Zeppelin consisted of four male rockers, who were all very lengthy hairs. Probably all Led Zeppelin did drugs, but here it’s not. Operation Snip Snip meant Led Zeppelin had to cancel the 1972 tour in Singapore because they wanted her hair to be cut at the boundary and Banned Music
2 Tyler, The Creator—UK
In 2015, the Creator Tyler had been prepared to perform on the United Kingdom festival circuit. Tyler did not confirm in particular his reluctance to allow him to join, but his rapper change ego. He was not the UK home secretary. Then Theresa May, Home Secretary, decreed the dismissal of Tyler on the basis that his presence in Britain “would not be conducive to the government benefit” Tyler received a list of papers that gave reasons for his ban and quoted from Bastard and Goblin songs he published in 2009. These songs were considered to glamorize rape and violence, although the United Kingdom administration said it was known that they were alter ego. The rules used to dismember Tyler from the United Kingdom were surprising, and they were also used to prevent suspected terrorists. Tyler received a ban from the United Kingdom for three to five years and was returned to the US.
1 Frank Sinatra—Mexico
In the beginning of the 1960s Frank Sinatra performed a series of songs in Mexico. But he was prohibited from entering the country in 1966 without a small degree of irony. In other words, in the 1965 film Marriage on the Rocks in which the lead married couple get divorced by error, Sinatra played alongside Deborah Kerr. The Mexican government viewed the movie as offensive because the nation was shown to provide a place for “quick” weddings and divorces. Rocks Marriage was also regarded as offensive because of its depiction of representatives from Mexico, which was seen to be damaging to the “domestic dignity” of Mexico. In Mexico the movie was immediately prohibited, and the Mexican airwaves also pulled Sinatra’s songs away. However, the government of Mexico took a step further, preventing Sinatra from joining the nation and Banned Music
